Futurehub Focus
Our piece on pages 38–39 takes you inside this year’s FutureHub finale, where our cohort had just one day to build a brand, a product range, an operational plan and financial projections from scratch. They landed on a luxury ice cream company with flavours like blue cheese and bloody mary sorbet. Against all rational explanation, it worked.
But behind the fun finale is a serious point. FutureHub has been running since 2013 and the results speak for themselves: board promotions, business buyouts and founder exits. As programme director Phil Green puts it, “the cohort gain in confidence, business understanding and are exposed to other businesses in a way that they simply do not get in their own company.”
