Leader of the Year 2024: Steve Hayman
A huge congratulations to our MDHUB Leader of the Year, Steve Hayman of Cheesmur Building Contractors.
Steve is a very special human being who we have had the pleasure of knowing for a good number of years and who we feel encompasses being a leader in the broadest, true and positive sense: a leader of people and in their community, a great supporter of their fellow peers and the epitome of what it means to truly give back to others.

The Disruptor Award 2024: Pete Luck
Congratulations to Peter Luck at ROCC for winning The Disruptor Award at Hubbub 2024, MDHUB’s annual awards ceremony. The award was presented by Russ McKenzie, Director of nTrust, who sponsored this award.

“If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting or working with Pete, you’ll know he’s a genuinely down-to-earth and all round lovely guy. However, don’t let those affable qualities fool you – because beneath that genuine humility lies a sharp, business-savvy mind that continually impresses those who get to know him.
As a regular contributor to our Tech 101 workgroups, Pete consistently blows us away with his enthusiasm and command of new technologies, making his business more successful, but also way more productive and a far better place to work.”

The Braveheart Award 2024: Jonathan Grant
Celebrations are in order for Jonathan Grant at DMH Stallard, who won The Braveheart Award at our annual Leaders lunch and awards ceremony, Hubbub2024. Sponsor Paul Mason, Director of Nordell, presented this award.

“Jonathan oozes care and compassion. He is so in touch with needs of others on many levels. Uber resilient and determined. He will not let a few logistical issues or global downturn deflect from his goal of building a contented and highly efficient team.
This year has been particularly challenging for many people in business, but Jonathan hasn’t shied away from the tough issues.
He stays ahead of the curve, with a sharp understanding of both the legal industry and broader market trends.
His leadership has been pivotal in guiding DMH through complex times, and he’s done it all with patience, empathy, professionalism, and grace.”
