Conversational Leadership
This leadership session ditches theory for real-world communication skills. Learn to listen more deeply and build trust for a more inclusive team. Through hands-on practice and reflection, you'll build your confidence and learn to foster better connections.
Openness and a willingness to transform your approach are key for success.
What we will cover:
Leadership isn't just about theories; it's about daily actions in a complex world.
This session focuses on improving your communication, the core tool of leadership, across all interactions: formal meetings, casual chats, and everything in between.
Recent research highlights the power of psychological safety and trust. This session empowers you to build both through better listening, inclusivity, and democracy.
Over two days, you'll:
• Sharpen your communication skills: Distinguish between observations, thoughts, feelings, and needs and apply this in real-world scenarios.
• Master reflective listening: Enhance awareness and curiosity, fostering deeper connections with colleagues and customers.
• Put these skills into practice: Experiment with new techniques in a safe environment.
Between the two sessions you’ll have an opportunity to try out your new skills, and on the second day we’ll review progress, and build from difficulties and successes.
We’ll end by exploring the commitment needed to really integrate a new way of conversing into your leadership approach. You will get the most out of this session if you come with an open mind, ready to explore and be open about your own practice, and ready to change it.
