Thank you to LMS Group for sponsoring this award.

Josh (Brightec) is exactly the sort of person you would want to have your back, thoughtful, skillful, kind and determined and a worthy winner of this year’s award.
Andy Ferrett‘s words :
I have recently taken a 12-week break in order to recuperate and recover from a gruelling few years, on top of running an agency for over 15 years. This period away from the company I founded could have been difficult and even stressful in itself, but I was able to hand over all my responsibilities to my fellow director Josh, knowing he would do an exceptional job in my absence. This proved to be the case as when I returned I found the company in better shape than when I had left it. Not only was Josh more than able to manage the team and take on a number of the responsibilities that had sat with me, he also went out of his way to make sure that the time I had away, was a restful and protected as possible. As we neared my original return date, he correctly predicted that I would not be ready to come back, and suggested a further 4 weeks would be appropriate. This 4 weeks proved critical in allowing me to come back with excitement, rather than dread. Josh continues to manage all of the day to day, as I take time to imagine and create a new role for myself within the company.

A kind of Angel person …. ( Helen )
Rob Day’s comments:
Of all the many members of MDHUB – I can’t think of another person I’d want by my side than Josh.
Yes, Josh is smart, annoyingly talented, savvy, reliable and loyal – but what sets him apart is beyond his own personal traits and talents.
Josh’s impact is evident in the way that he shows up and cares for his fellow teammates.
There’s a higher standard that Josh sets that most MD’s can only stand back and go ‘oh wow – you did that?’
There’s a generosity of spirit and intent that makes you realise that Josh is doing this because he really understands how important it is to be valued, seen, supported and cared for in good times and bad.
And somehow despite this bighearted generosity and compassion, Josh manages to hold that line between kindness and boundaried potency that every good leader needs.
