Ruth is a freelance marketeer and project manager with over 20 years’ experience working in management development, publishing, IT and the voluntary sector.
Ruth started her marketing career at Ashridge Business School where she was responsible for printed material across the College’s activities before taking up a role as Marketing Manager at Datalogic UK Limited where she was highly successful in raising the company’s profile and business across Europe.
A versatile and creative person, excellent at copywriting, PR, graphic design and project management, Ruth has lots of ideas and a common sense, “can do” attitude which has resulted in tremendous successes for many organisations including those in the voluntary sector where budgets are often limited.
Most recently Ruth has been working on the Swift Project which has been funded by the Government Equalities Office and run in partnership by ESCC, MDHUB and Sound Architect to support self-employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for women by enhancing their digital skills and enabling them to take advantage of faster and more reliable broadband in rural areas. Well over 40 women were recruited to the project in less than a month and it continues to go from strength to strength with many women reporting improved results as a direct consequence of being on the programme.
"I have worked with Ruth for a number of years on creative projects. Her conceptual thinking coupled with her IT skills have resulted in some first rate work - delivered on time and always within budget. She is a very professional and enthusiastic person to work with." Michael Bell Michael Bell Ltd
