VW Heritage in the spotlight
Shoreham based VW & Porsche parts supplier VW Heritage put themselves in the spotlight of the Sunday Times Top 100, and came out shining with an accreditation for their staff engagement levels awarded by competition organisers Best Companies.
Similar to a Michelin star for restaurants, the b stars range from 1 to 3, with a ‘one to watch’ award for those who have also impressed the judges.
Reaching the second tier of their accreditation scale is a huge achievement for VW Heritage and puts them in line with other global companies currently functioning on the same level such as Arsenal Football Club, AXA, David Lloyd, Halfords, Kia, Pandora, Goodwood, The Ritz London and White Stuff.
After completing an anonymous staff engagement survey comprising of 70 questions regarding all aspects of work life, some clever analysis is carried out and a BCI (Best Companies Index) score is applied to help group the most successful companies together.
Sadly, VW Heritage just missed out on the Sunday Times published lists, but company MD, Barney Dines confirmed “we are encouraged by our performance and have plans to participate in the competition again in 2020. This will give us time to review and implement a number of recommendations made, plus we’ll be rolling out some exciting new initiatives for our staff.”
