We are delighted to share that MDHUB Member, Emma Cleary, has launched a new kind of recruitment agency in Sussex. As the name suggests, Flexibility Matters, promises to help businesses reap the rewards of a flexible staffing strategy by resourcing talented and experienced professionals who want to enjoy a better work/life balance through flexible working.
The agency may be new, but the team, headed up by founder, Emma Cleary, has a combined 25 years’ experience in flexible recruitment and consultancy within the south east of England and London. The team have built up a unique pool of over 2,500 experienced, many senior, professionals seeking flexible opportunities. A recent survey conducted by Flexibility Matters revealed that improving the balance between work and home commitments was the community’s main driver. With the benefits of flexible working becoming increasingly accepted, yet with still so much more work to be done, supporting their candidates and businesses alike with best practice and networking events is at the core of their business strategy.
The team are seeing an emerging trend for businesses, that recruiting flexibly means being able to expand at a manageable and affordable rate with reduced risk. It means having access to a pool of experienced talent that may be retained at a lower cost, and it means an overall increase in productivity due to better staff retention, reduced absenteeism and efficient, motivated workers.
“The promise of flexible hours is fast becoming one of the biggest priorities for employees. Businesses hiring flexibly will have the best chance of attracting and retaining the best talent”, says Flexibility Matters Founder, Emma Cleary.
“We know how time-consuming recruitment can be and equally how important skilled, motivated and retained employees are to the profitability and productivity of any sized business. As a recruitment team specialising in sourcing local flexible professionals, we’re dedicated to supporting and advising businesses in this very important area, aiming to lead the way in best practice.”
Flexibility Matters believe that, whatever stage a business is at – start-up, small or large, growing or stable, there’s a flexible working format that they can benefit from.
