KBC moves into China with joint venture

The directors of leading travel PR and Representation agency, KBC PR & Marketing, today announce the launch of KBC China Travel Marketing Ltd.

KBC China Travel Marketing will operate as a joint venture marketing partnership between Kate Burgess-Craddy and Helena Beard (both of KBC PR & Marketing), and Alina Xiang of Beijing, China. Ms Xiang is the Managing Director of United Branding, an award-winning Chinese travel PR and representation agency with offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.

KBC China Travel Marketing will promote UK and global destinations to the Chinese market. It will also offer marketing services to Chinese travel companies and destinations looking for representation in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Said Kate Burgess, Director, KBC China Travel Marketing,
China offers immense opportunities to global tourism destinations, but, as a country to do business in, it is challenging. Our aim is to take away all the hard work for destinations which want to reach this lucrative market. Rather than having to source a Chinese representative, and process all the administration and red tape which goes with that, we are offering them the opportunity to work through KBC, a UK company which has been established in the market for fifteen years.

Said Alina Xiang, Director, United Branding,
The UK government's recent decision to relax the visa application process for Chinese nationals visiting the UK presents another reason for UK destinations, hotels and attractions to reach out to the Chinese market. When they are ready to take that step, we hope they will come to KBC China Travel Marketing to make that easy for them.

Tourist Boards, hotels, attractions or travel companies interested in discussing the possibility of working with KBC China Travel Marketing, should contact Helena Beard at helena.beard@kbc-pr.com or visit www.kbc-pr.com
