Cameron and Wilding organise Drupalcamp
Drupalcamp London was a gathering of nearly 400 people from the Drupal content management system community coming together to share knowledge and best practice.
Drupal is a CMS used for many large scale web systems including the Economist, Royal Mail and the White House. Cameron and Wilding Ltd are central figures in the UK Drupal world and undertake a large amount of community work. This includes organising the monthly Drupal Beer and Chats, monthly code sprints for helping to develop Drupal 8 and speaking at and supporting Drupalcamps up and down the country.
'We are so proud to have been a part of this from the initial conversations 7 months ago to the delivery of the event from the 1st March to the 3rd. Seeing nearly 400 people passionate about Drupal and sharing knowledge was really great.'
Some of the highlights were having Paul Reeves from MTV and Joe Baker from Oxfam discussing their technical infrastructure and how they are using Drupal on very large scales.
Feedback from the event was terrific and there are already murmurings about when the next Drupalcamp London will be. This is looking like another great year for Drupal in the UK.
